Pattern Projection

Background

I designed an interactive animation that explored how light transforms surfaces through shifting patterns. Using Krita, I created a sequence where different patterns gradually emerged, revealing themselves piece by piece. This installation was projected from the top of the Jewett Arts Center staircase at Wellesley College onto the floor below. As people walked into the projection, their movements disrupted and redefined the patterns, inviting spontaneous interaction and blurring the boundaries between the physical and the digital, allowing them to engage with and reshape the visuals in real time.
